Jam Session
I'm listening to a CD burn of the first jam session with the in-utero band. We got together in John's basement on the 10th and messed around for several hours, yielding about 70 minutes of material. I brought my Alesis QS8 instead of my P-80 and mostly did vocals and ambient keyboard stuff. I've been reminded recently that I'm really not a keyboard player; I'm a pianist pretending to be a keyboardist. I should get something with knobs and pedals and figure out how to tweak. So much to learn.
Right now I'm tripping myself out listening this one thing we did, where I didn't feel like singing, so I just half-spoke, half-whispered whatever came to mind for about ten minutes.
it's only one light that we're given it's only one this one-way street the tyrant screams the light corrodes you this way out are you sure? closed in, buried, can't breathe can't breathe can't breathe are you sure? signal stops and we're gone only one shot fire
And here's one where I play this goofy vibraphone patch with little chime overtones trickling everywhere. I think it's called "Mad Vibes" on the QS8. Heheheh. Very silly.
