22 August 2000 I have so far to go. So much to learn. I am definitely a work in progress. Rough around the edges. I'm at that "well, it's got potential" phase. Someday, someday, I will be the kind of musician I admire -- intensity and precision, emotion and artistry together. I like the direction I'm headed, but there's quite a bit of distance left to cover. This is my own assessment, of course. If you think I'm the greatest thing since the damper pedal, I'm sure not going to argue with you. - VT
